It looks all nice and would be a nice holiday for a family, the facilities etc are family like. The rooms look good but the most important is a good night's rest. Here is where they fail. We know South Africans like a hard bed, but this resort managed to find beds harder than hard. Certainly not up to international standards and it is almost impossible to get a good night's rest for international tourists. If you let the staff know, then they don't know what to do and start defending, instead of dealing with it. The reception supervisor was better, once he came over, he got someone to deal with it. Their solution is to put a blanket underneath??? Really... that's barely better... a resort like this cannot afford a matrass topper... Even better, maybe revise your beds to international standards and train your staff in what do if something is not up to scratch.

I got there yesterday and I must state my dissatisfaction on the kitchen/restaurant staff. We had a whole experience where we ordered drinks and waited a while to be assisted. They kept playing around. Then this morning at breakfast, finished my food waiting for eggs, which I kept following up time and again. Also, our coffees took forever to be done. I sense they do this because there’s no manager on site. Can this issue please be resolved so that we do not experience this again as we are leaving on Sunday. Having to wait for eggs and coffee. I heard a mom with a son walking out complaining about the same issue. They were all over the place, yet no one took us serious. Otherwise the place is nice and cosy

The place was very nice and comfortable, it definately met my expectations. The spa treatment was exceptional I would highly recommend that you ask for Boitumelo is you want to do a massage...she is incredible I feel so relaxed. Lastly some of the activities should not come ay a cost they should be complementary as part of the booking for a stay. Overall it was a good experience

Die Nähe zum Pilanes Park. Die Villa hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus wurde täglich gereinigt. Die Grünanlagen sind super gepflegt. Für Kinder gut geeignet, wenn denn alle Facilities nutzbar wären. Die Hüpfburg war für unsere Enkelin der Hit. Für Kinder wird genug geboten. Der Swimmingpool war riesengroß und super toll.

Room, I have never seen such cleanliness. I came from suncity and our room was spotless. Thank you so much for making a beautiful experience for my family. The warm pool was the highlight for my kids, we even left suncity early because all they wanted was the pool and the pizza from your restaurant. Our room was clean, however very dated. The pillows were like a bag of oranges to sleep on. Lounge and pillows haven't been replaced since it was built? I booked a 2 bedroom villa to use the outdoors , the table and chairs were unsafe and unusable as were the two pool lounges . If this apartment is privately owned , the owners need to spend some money making it worth the money we spent to stay there. Stay somewhere else.

Our recent stay here was really lovely. Rooms are stunning and you really don't need to go anywhere as there are activities on site, 2 restaurants, a convenience store, a spa, waterslides , swimming pools. The slides were under maintenance during our visit but will definitely return so that the kids can enjoy it. No regrets. We actually extended our stay.

The resort is very nice and good for relaxation when resting. Loved the nature around the resort. The villas are spacious and neatly put to give privacy with the private patio. There is enough entertainment that caters to both kids and adults on the resort. In overall I do recommend it as a good first option than staying at Sun City hotels due to the value for money and the set up for the rooms makes you feel like you have your own home from home. We stayed here for 2 nights on arrival into the Pilanesberg area. Check in was easy, the rooms nicely decorated and comfortable. Grounds are well maintained. Beware, there is no assistance with luggage. Only 1 restaurant/cafe open due to maintenance which had a reasonably priced menu. The shuttle to Sun City must be booked, although they over book this so make sure you are early for your pick up or you’ll be waiting until the next round (around 45mins in our experience). Would recommend the resort for Families (kids seemed to be having a ball in the water park and pool areas) & those who have a car.

Our stay at this resort was magnificent. The staff were very welcoming and their customer service is great. I'd like to single Garry out as the manager that went an extra mile to seeve and retain us. He bent himself backwards to ensure that we were happy. The rooms are clean and I enjoyed their food as well. I'd recommend for families to go and spoil themselves at this resort. Rooms: Clean and elegant. Nearby activities: Special. Safety: Very safe, even for kids. Food & drinks: Mouth watering although the restaurant could improve on their sense of urgency

Nearby activities: Suncity , worthless going to suncity if you booked into kingdom resort. Walkability: A little of a walk but worth it. Noteworthy details: Beautiful

We had a wonderful stay at the Kingdom Resort and happily give it 5 stars. We did have an initial issue upon arrival where the WiFi was not working. However, Donald went above and beyond to help us. He was extremely dedicated and worked hard to find a solution, which we really appreciated. Thanks to his excellent service, the rest of our stay was perfect. The rooms (and houses) are very clean and well-equipped with everything you need. We were particularly impressed with the beds, which were very comfortable and had nice, firm mattresses. The resort seems to be very geared towards families, but we found it was also an excellent choice for a short stopover, even without children. We would definitely recommend it!

Check in is way too late in the day. No towels in the room - had to ask 3 times. TV channels were complex to access and many didn't work. Only one working restaurant way down at the play area with very few indoor tables - on a cold rainy day this was not ideal - food, beverages and drinks are ordered from 3 different places. Coffee and tea facilities provided in the room but no milk, only some weird plastic tasting powder mix. Shower mixer not so good, hard to get hot cold mix right and only had a large weak pressure

The staff from security when you arrive through to reception, waiters, cleaning staff are well spoken, professional and friendly.Our room was absolute neat and tidy, everyday the towels are washed and replaced, and room gets a spring cleaning session.The gardens are well kept, as well as the entertainment facilities.

We had such a wonderful stay! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the private braai area was absolutely lovely and so convenient. The heated pool was perfect, and there are loads of activities to enjoy – ideal for families. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. The only small challenge for Muslim guests is that the bathrooms don’t have a sink near the toilet to fill a jug, but otherwise everything was fantastic. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay and everything met our expectation. Our room was a bit small but was clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and professional. The park is conveniently located near to the Pilansberg National Park gates. Grounds are family friendly and offer lots of activities for the kids. Staff were friendly and the rooms were very nice. We wanted to conduct guided night drives into the park but there was no offerings with the resort and staff were unable to direct us as to the best way to book something. We ended up talking directly with the Pilansberg National Park staff directly to book a drive.

Great family friendly resort. Rooms: Rooms are well appointed with everything you need. Only issue was they do not tell you upfront you need to pay to use the heater in your room - about R650 for the week. Also, they do provide laundry service at a very reasonable rate. Food & drinks: Restaurant on site with good menu but limited breakfast buffet options. Noteworthy details: Heated pool, outdoor theatre. Do NOT book safaris with the resort. Book directly with the safari company. We booked with resort and only got a packet of chips and boxed orange juice in below freezing weather on the early morning safari when other tours provided hot coffee, breakfast and alcoholic beverages (coffee and amarula). When we enquired, we were told the resort chose the options and didnt provide anything for the driver.

A beautiful family friendly resort, with kids activities, restaurants and self catering units. Close to Suncity and the Pilansberg Park. You can book game drives and other activities at the resort. The self catering units are beautiful, luxurious and well maintained. By far, one of the best I've stayed at in South Africa. There's a small shopping village nearby, with a Spar supermarket, McDonald's, Engen. This area however is very dodgy, so don't go alone or at night. Can definitely be a great value for money holiday, with a bit of planning. Rooms: The self catering units are beautiful and luxurious. Well maintained, comfortable, with everything you need for your stay. Nearby activities: Sun City, Pilansberg National Park game drives and bush walks. Safety: Fairly safe, however the shopping village nearby is dodgy. Walkability: Need a vehicle to get around. Food & drinks: Well priced, good taste, many options. The closing times of restaurants are strange, they close very early. Perhaps that's because they expect people to braai or prepare their own meals due to the resort having self catering facilities. The cafe closes at 5pm. We were there at 4.30pm and it was already closed. There's another sit down restaurant that closes around 9pm. So you need to plan your meal times. Noteworthy details: The self catering accommodation is beautiful and well maintained. Suncity and the Pilansberg park are 5 minutes away. There's a shuttle to Suncity from the Kingdom resort, however the entry fee into Suncity is ridiculous, over R400 per person. The drive from OR Tambo airport to the Kingdom resort is fairly easy on good roads. Use the R565 route via Rustenberg.

Very clean! The cleaning staff needs a raise!!! The staff is truly amazing, very welcoming, kind and helpful!!!!! Great location, near Sun City. The family room is very spacious, especially the braai area. The jungle cafe makes fantastic Pina coladas and other cotials, as well as the pizza at the restaurant. I enjoy that there are multiple pools / entertainment areas to select from. We were very happy that there was one heated pool, especially since it was winter

A real gem in the area. There are the usual historically strong resorts next to Sun city which are great in their own rights. This property is very family focused with loads of activities from a water park to paddke courts, rock climbing to heated pools, great rooms on offer, good location to Sun city, unique Antelope safari, good facilities and ease of resort movement . It's affordable and located near a variety of nature reserves. The in-house restaurant has a variety of good foods. Although we went at the dawn of winter, we couldn't do water activities. However, we did the rare game quad biking, and it was the first time I did rode a quad bike, and it was a wonderful experience. I do recommend people to check this resort out as our experience is worth sharing.

Chalet very comfortable, neat and clean; well equipped(although no dishwasher and washing machine, as was advertised); staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant: staff very friendly and helpful. Texture of food (we only had muffins and pizzas) not very nice. In our opinion the quality of the food did not compare favourably with the quality of the accommodation (chalet). Layout of the property is very well done. Adequate amenities -cater for the whole family. Peaceful atmosphere. Loved the game drives, especially the Rare Wild Game Drive, although it is expensive for families with children. No interactive activities on the Rare Game Drive, as was advertised. Massage and facial at the Spa were very nice.

What a great resort to get away for a long weekend, close enough to Sun City that you can pop over to Valley of the waves, or the casino or dinner at one of the Sun City restaurants. But the Kingdom Resort has some great facilities with hot water swimming pool, outdoor cinema, putt putt, games and a Rare Game Drive. Rooms are clean neat and modern. It was a great choice Rooms: Modern, neat and spacious. Nearby activities: Swimming pools, putt putt, volleyball, outdoor cinema, bar. Safety: In a secure complex with 24-hr security

Liked the rooms as they were neat and clean. Best shower I've ever experienced and I travel the world 🤣. Liked the little touches of the Dove products left in the rooms. The pool area and the noodles were amazing. Great bar area to relax with your feet in the sand while sitting on swings and having cocktails to end the day. Surprisingly nice music played at the bar, keeps you there vibing. Loved that they have movie night at 7pm outside. Beautiful pools. Safe with great security...apparently the buffet is nice but we missed that. We did archery, the game drive with (MK) and movie night. Great for a short break.

מיקום מושלם ליד הפילנסברג. הריזורט מטופח ומקסים, מלא ירוק. הבעיה היחידה היא ששומעים הכל מהחדר הצמוד. הם יודעים שיש להם בעיה כזו ולכן כל אורח חותם על טופס שמותר להתלונן עליו ומותר לו להתלונן על השכנים . השכנים דיברו בווליום רגיל ושמענו הכל. כשהתלוננו וביקשנו פיצוי הם אמרו שאין דבר כזה וביקשו מהשכנים שלנו לצאת לדבר בגינה שלהם. חבל שהפתרון היחיד זה להוציא מישהו מהחדר שלו כדי שלנו יהיה שקט.

We had a exceptional stay at the Kingdom. Our accommodation was absolutely stunning and the facilities were excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful and everything was so clean and well maintained. Will definitely be visiting again.

Location is excellent for both sun city and the self drive safari parks, the facilities are excellent for both adults and children - two swimming pools with x1 heated - lots of activities to keep you entertained. like the free shuttle to sun city - resturant was excellent
